Exclusively registered Purchase Ledger Controller job available in Norwich.

Your new company
Hays are working in exclusive partnership with a well established international engineering and manufacturing business based in the Norwich area. This company are looking for a new and experienced member to bolster an already strong finance team.

Your new role
The main purpose of the role will be to control all purchase ledger financial activity and support the Financial Controller in the smooth running of the finance function. More specifically you will be tasked with:

* Processing high volumes of purchase invoices (approximately 500 per month)
* Process credit card payments
* Administer petty cash
* Account reconciliations across 3 company divisions
* Process in excess of 1000 payments in multiple currencies
* Assist in the production of month financial reports.
* Resolve any invoice queries
* Manipulate data between several financial systems

This is a full time role working 37 hours a week but the exact working pattern can be flexible and typically finishes with a half day on Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have extensive knowledge of the Purchase Ledger processes and be comfortable working under pressure. You must have strong IT skills and be comfortable using multiple financial systems. Experience of using SAP will be beneficial but not essential. Experience in multi-currency invoice processing would also be advantageous.
