Our client is a large Residential Developer currently recruiting to build this team. They provide sites that provide private and affordable housing, on land owned or controlled by the Group. They are one of the U.K's leading residential developers and have received multiple awards for design and sustainability excellence. Ranging from town houses through to high rise apartment block our client is at the forefront of the U.K's residential market.

About the opportunity:

My client is currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a solid background in new build residential housing and apartments. As part of this opportunity, you will be expected to be able to run projects through from early pre-construction stages to final handover, managing in the main commercial as well as some technical and project management elements of the job.

Well-rounded experience in commercial, technical and project delivery is key with a diverse construction background delivering traditional build, RC Frame and timber frame projects. You will be working alongside an experienced commercial team of circa 4 surveyors with an impressive track record of delivering projects on time, to spec and on budget.

This opportunity has the potential to evolve rapidly and will allow you the chance to grow with the company. With unpredictable economic times ahead, particularly for the private housing sector, my client have the benefit of being in a very secure position delivering government-funded affordable housing, which shows no signs of slowing down.

About the benefits and rewards:

A basic salary of up to £80,000 per annum plus bonus and company benefits.

About the requirements:

Must have experience in managing projects from inception to completion and have delivered new build housing schemes.

Must have a degree.

Ideally main contracting and residential experience
