Your new company
Our client are a children's care service with a residential home for 4 service users in Swaffham. Providing an environment within the parameters of legislation to allow young people to experience a caring, safe and secure life. The are tenacious in ensuring that the young people they are for experience a sense of stability and they are committed to giving them every opportunity to succeed.

Your new role
We are looking to find a Registered manager for this home in Swaffham, Norfolk which provides care to 4 young people between the ages of 11 and 18.

The manager will be responsible for the management, co-ordination and development of a quality service for young people accommodated within the home. Promotion the practice of working in partnership with young people, their families, colleagues and other agencies in order to meet the needs of young people. They will provide effective leadership by implementing organisational strategies in order to enable the objectives of the home.

What you'll need to succeed
3 years experience working with children in the last 5 years with at least 1 year at senior supervisor level
Supervision of Management experience
Experience of working directly with children young people and their families and allied professional involved in a child's care plan
Be skilled with budge management and maintenance of budgets
Previous experience working in a residential setting and inter-agency work
QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent of willing to work towards
The ability to work within policies and procedures
The ability to work under pressure
Be able to work effectively with Ofsted
