You can make a difference to everyone
As a Covid Testing Supervisor, you'll lead as part of the team with overall responsibility for the day-to-day running and management of a regional, local or mobile testing site.
What you'll be doing
Reporting into the Site Manager and Deputy Site Manager, you'll make sure your team of temporary contractors are fully briefed on their duties and that the site meets agreed standards and protocols. You'll oversee and be part of the team carrying out tasks such as traffic and queue management, organising stock and supplies, security, cleaning and the collection of self-administered tests. And, you'll maintain high standards of safety, security and customer service, at all times.
Every day will be different. And each day you'll gain a sense of pride and satisfaction from knowing that you're part of a vitally important national effort to fight the pandemic. You'll also enjoy the opportunity and support to explore wider career opportunities in other areas of Serco.
The skills you'll need
We don't look for any qualifications for this role. It's more important to be friendly, safety conscious and have a flexible approach to work. Experience of leading customer facing teams, together with the confidence to liaise and work with local officials from the emergency services, council, or testing services when necessary is desirable.
All PPE, safety equipment, and training will be provided.
