By offering the best and broadest portfolio of engineering simulation software, Ansys helps companies solve the most complex design challenges and engineer products limited only by imagination.Summary / Role PurposeThe Senior License Compliance Sales Specialist, Audits (LCSS) is responsible for identifying and developing opportunities to generate business in a geographical territory through License Reviews (Software Audits). The LCSS needs to give guidance to the sales team and channel partner or conduct commercial negotiations which leads to a resolution of the license compliance case. In this role, the LCSS will work closely together with legal, sales, channels, external legal counsels, software auditors and LC service providers.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesRecover revenue lost to unauthorized license use . The LCSS is responsible for supporting the protection and enforcement of the company's Intellectual Property Rights and managing a sales territory to recover revenue lost to unauthorized license use through license reviewsNegotiate large License Reviews reconciliations .The LCSS will negotiate large audit reconciliations directly with senior executives and CxO suite of the customer organizationBuild a cross-functional team . The LCSS will schedule discussions between field sales, channel partners and suspected companies to negotiate a commercial solution. In addition, the LCSS will work with the internal legal team, external legal counsels, and software auditorsWork with software auditors to implement and maintain a software audit program in the territory . The LCSS will manage software auditors and design and implement a license review process and playbook to achieve sales targets. This includes working with internal and external teams to analyze CRM data to prepare and reconcile audits, coordinate audit activities with the software auditors, and liaise with executives and senior managers at the customer organization to move forward the audit process and negotiate the license review reconciliationMinimum Education/Certification Requirements and ExperienceFive years of experience in a License Compliance (software audits) role with a software companyFluent in EnglishBachelor's degree with an engineering, business or legal focus, or equivalent, which is at least 4 yearsSales and quota-drivenPreferred Qualifications and SkillsExperience in Intellectual Property Law and/or Software Asset ManagementDemonstrated integrity and confidentialityAbility to foster teamworkCULTURE AND VALUESCulture and values are incredibly important to Ansys.
