Job description

Overall Purpose of Job
To produce Kannegiesser UK product to company standards. This role sits in the continuous process involved in the supply of Kannegiesser UK product which begins with the identification of customer need and ends with the delivery of customer satisfaction.
Accountabilities
Principal
Assembly
To read engineering drawings
To read electrical drawings
To produce sub-assemblies and assemblies for Monorail projects
To identify any problems with build and feedback to your supervisor following the appropriate process
Wiring/Testing
To install wiring (24V, X-X/cable routing) to the mechanical products where required
To test product before despatch
Pneumatics
To read pneumatic drawings
To install pneumatic piping to mechanical products where required
Worldwide installations
To assist periodically on world-wide installations. Advance notice will be given and periods will generally not exceed two weeks
Mentor
To act as a trainer and mentor to junior level staff (Apprentice)
Secondary
Stores
To assist the build of company products by picking correct parts from stores
To assist with stocktaking
Other
Crane operation
Machine operation (Manual Saw, Auto Saw, Bender, Press, Puncher)
Forklift operation
Company elements
To follow company procedures and complete documentation appropriately/accordingly.
To ensure good housekeeping at all times. All areas to be clean and tidy and tools returned at the completion of every job/end of every day.
To comply with the company H&S policy.
To contribute to the company's continuous improvement process.
To undertake additional tasks as requested by your Manager/Supervisor commensurate with the level of the role
