Job description

The Mouldshop is the first step in our production process. Our Mouldshop machines create multiple plastic mouldings which make up key parts of our products.

Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will ensure the safe and effective operations of Mouldshop equipment and oversee the production of moulded components, this includes:

The safe mounting and dismounting of injection mould tools

Sorting and/or re-working of mouldings as directed by the Shift Team Leader

Moving materials and finished product to and from the moulding machine

Setting process parameters to pre-defined conditions

Completing 'In Process Checks' (IPC) to ensure all mouldings meet the required standards

Ensuring housekeeping and cleanliness standards are met at all times

Completing in full all compliance documentation in line with company Standard Operating Procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Relevant experience working as an Injection Mould Setter

Must have formal qualification in injection Moulding, PTIC (or similar) Level 2 minimum

The ability to complete detailed documentation in line with GMP

To be an effective team player with excellent communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

To be able to work with minimal supervision

This role is a 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off shift pattern and the hours are 06:30am - 18:30pm - plus overtime when needed.
