Company Profile
Due to expansion and continued growth, a world leader in the design and manufacture of a niche product are looking for an Injection Mould Setter Operator to join their Injection Moulding team of skilled engineers.
Job Profile
As the successful Extrusion Setter Operator, you will be responsible for Setting and Operating of the Extrusion Machines within your section and assisting in completing orders on time and at the correct quality and cost.
Duties:
* Set and Operate Extrusion machines
* Produce Products to:
* the correct Quality requirements
* the correct specifications and procedures
* the required quantity and date, referring to the Production schedule
* Maintain and check equipment is to a satisfactory Health & Safety standard
* Liaise with all members of the Department to ensure operations run smoothly
* Assist in the cleaning, packing and sorting of products, part batching when necessary
* Assist the Team Leaders in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Immediately report to the Section Leader any defects on equipment or mouldings
* Carry out any other reasonable request from management
* Assist in adequately training all staff and encourage a policy of continuous improvement
* Assist the Section Leader in planning daily production requirements
* Ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site

Hours of Work:
* Permanent Days or Permanent Nights available
* 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
* 3on, 2off, 2on, 3off - panama shift
