Job description

Westminster Homecare are currently recruiting for an experienced Care Manager for their growing office in Forest Hill.

As the Care Manager you will be responsible for supporting a team of Care Coordinators and Care Workers. Your role will be to manage staff, oversee and ensure that the service is always of the highest quality and support the Registered Manager with the overall running of the branch.

We require an experienced Deputy Manager or Senior Care Co-ordinator with domiciliary care experience for this role.

Main duties of the role:

• To develop, support and mentor the Care Coordinators and Care Workers

• To support and assist the Registered Branch Manager with daily duties within this busy domiciliary branch

• Be fully aware of the Quality Assurance policy at all times and execute quality monitoring to ensure optimum service delivery

• To ensure all care calls are covered and Service Uses are happy

• To ensure that all telephones are answered promptly and all enquiries are dealt with in a polite and respectful manner

• To manage on call (on a rota basis) during out of office hours

• To execute one to ones and staff supervisions with the team as directed

• To report to the Registered Branch Manager regarding any issues

• To maintain accurate records To produce ad hoc reports if required by the Registered Branch Manager.

• Responsible for maintaining compliance

• Managing initial complaints or safeguarding

Driving

This role requires you to drive between the locations of our Service Users. Please apply only if you hold a valid driving license and have access to your own vehicle.

From time to time we release other care vacancies that do not require a diving license and vehicle.
