About us:

The Transplant ward is a busy 16 bedded ward which deals with patients:

Undergoing assessment for Transplant

Preparation for a Transplant operation

Acute post op Transplant care and recovery

Re admission with post Transplant complications

What better place to start than at one of the largest Transplant centres in Europe? Oxford carries out Kidney, Pancreas, Kidney and Pancreas, Intestinal, Abdominal wall and Islet cell Transplants. We are one of only two centres in the UK carrying out Intestinal transplants and one of eight for Pancreas and we care for patients from all over the UK.

The ward is primarily a fast paced acute surgical ward with extensive learning opportunities.

About you

We are looking for motivated Nursing assistant that thrive to work as a part of the team to provide high quality patient care. There is extensive in house training with a local professional development clinical educator. We provide support to all staff members to support your development and orientation to the unit.
