Fitter - Large Mobile Plant Earthmoving

Our client, a major rental provider of Heavy Mobile Plant for the Construction, Civil Engineering as well Mining and Quarry industry is looking to recruit a position for the Oxfordshire area around the HS2 project. This role is for a hands-on Engineer/Fitter based in the field.

The Role

This role involves the service, maintenance and up-keen of our client's fleet of large heavy mobile earthmoving plant equipment including Loaders, Dumpers and Bulldozers. The client is invested in the area and focused the larger heavy plant in the local area. The role involves the hands-on maintenance, repair and general up keep of a range of mobile heavy plant earthmoving machines and vehicles, from engines through to hydraulics and electrical systems. The ability to take information on quickly is key to the success of this role. Intensive in-house training will be provided however strong Earthmoving, Heavy Mobile Plant service experience within mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems would be best suited and would require least training.

The Person

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong service/repair/maintenance track record within Large Earthmoving Heavy Mobile Plant Fitting (Dumper, Loader, Excavator), mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and hydraulics. Applicants working within this industry presently servicing Heavy Mobile Construction Plant, Mobile Mining Plant or Mobile Quarrying Plant would be very suitable.

You will receive a package based on a £36-45k basic salary (based on a 50-60hr working week), Company Vehicle, Mobile plus benefits associated with a successful company such as Health Care, Pension etc.
