HR Assistant
As part of the small HR team, you will be working alongside the HR Manager and the wider business as an integral part of a small and growing ambitious company. You will be responsible for the full HR administration in a varied role and maintaining the PeopleHR portal to ensure records are accurate and provide real time information. You will deal with general HR enquiries, emails and telephone calls and maintain an up-to-date awareness of employment legislation and HR best practice.

This role offers hybrid working initially but will return to 100% office based over time and you will receive training and support.
HR Assistant Responsibilities
As the HR Assistant some of your duties will include:
Overseeing the PeopleHR portal and ensuring records are kept up to date and GDPR compliant.
Monitoring and managing sickness procedure and supporting managers on processes.
Assisting with general HR enquiries.
Managing the recruitment process and onboarding of new employees.
Preparing letters and documentation.
Supporting the HR Manager.
Dealing with emails and telephone queries on a day-to-day basis.
Maintaining an up-to-date awareness of relevant employment legislation and HR practices.
HR Assistant Experience
The ideal candidate will be/have:
Minimum of 1 year proven, hands-on HR administration experience in a similar role
Working knowledge of HR and recruitment processes
Supportive, helpful, and proactive team player
Organised multi-tasker and service focused
Clear communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience using PeopleHR would be advantageous
HR Assistant Rewards
As the HR Assistant you will, amongst others, receive the following benefits:
Annual personal development budget of £500 (on completion of 3 months service)

Location
This role is hybrid with 2 days working from home and 3 days working at the office in South Oxfordshire however they do plan to move back to 5 days in the office in time.
There is free parking on site. You will need to be able to drive to get to the office location.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch
