Learning TechnologistBased at the Oxford HQ in LittlemorePermanent, Full-time, 40 hours per weekUp to 30k for the right experience and skill set.

Our clientis a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programmes and workforce education.

This exciting position is responsible for administering and developing key online student services and databases, such as the virtual learning environment (VLE), and dashboards, measuring attendance, progression, retention, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and manage the online virtual learning environment (VLE), with timely, consistent, accurate and quality delivery.

Support the coordination and integration of all online learning technologies.
Ensure quality and timely publication of learning materials.
Develop and maintain high end usability and functional dashboards for different stakeholders e.

g. staff, students, etc.
Maintain student databases for various metrics and extract data from multiple sources.
Support the student supporting teams with initiatives to improve student engagement, successful outcomes and satisfaction providing detailed analysis in these areas.

Essential Criteria:

Recent degree in IT or computer systems field and\/or experience in VLE administration.
Knowledge of front-end development types (HTML 5.0, JavaScript and CSS), apps (jQuery, GitHub, Chrome Developer Tools, etc) and sector best practices.
Familiarity with Python scripting and with data visualisation practices.

Knowledge of (or demonstrating enthusiasm for) student learning technologies such as Moodle or other learning management systems, including SCORM and xAPI standards.
Advanced computer literacy and accuracy skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), Google suite and Google Script, and ability to pick up IT systems quickly.

Experience working with client, student or other data in order to produce analytical reports.
Experience of finding ways to improve customer experience.
Strong administrative skills;
organised, systems oriented with a meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present and share information clearly.
Self-starter, able to work on own initiative and organise work according to deadlines and competing priorities.
Must have rights to work in the UK.

Remote\/ hybrid local working can be discussed.
Desirable Criteria:

Experience of providing technical support to staff and students in an educational environment.
Design skills such as in marketing, publishing, etc.
Knowledge of the creative media industries.
