Pastoral Support/Aspiring Councilors TA- Oxford-ASAP Start

**Recent Psychology/Criminology/sociology graduates wanted

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring councillor or graduate to gain invaluable experience within an educational setting. This beautiful school located in Oxford offer a supportive environment for their students which offers a wide curriculum which enables their students to gain valuable experience while becoming inspired learners, with the confidence to assist them is life outside school and in the world of work.

Such school tailors their curriculum to its students needs and is delivered which passion and enthusiasm by their dedicated and experienced pool of staff. This school is dedicated to providing a structure for their students to grow, build a strong self-esteem and prepare them for their futures lives beyond school. Such candidate will be working with SEMH (social and emotional mental health) ages 11-18 years.

This secondary school work in partnership with external professionals including educational and occupational psychologists, counsellors and speech and language therapists. Such candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside and shadow their work. A positive, enthusiastic individual who is able to bring previous knowledge and experience to the classroom is exactly what this school is looking for. The students within such school require a supportive teaching assistant who able to adapt to different situations. With SEN widely varying, the children have many different needs, which should always be a priority. Suitable experience from working with either children is greatly beneficial. A minimum of Level 3 qualifications or equivalent is required, with a degree being most desirable.
