Payroll Manager - UK & Ireland

Your new company is a growing business based in the Heart of Reading with excellent public transport links

Your new role is responsible for the UK and Irish Payrolls and responsibilities include

* On a monthly basis prepare and post the relevant financial information associated with all four payrolls, including any relevant inter company recharges
* Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations of payroll control accounts and other payroll accounting tasks as required
* Liaise with the financial reporting team to ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting of payroll recharges
* Payroll Liaison
* Business and Process Development
* Expense Management
* Internal & External Relationship Management

What you'll need to succeed

* Strong operational knowledge and experience of payroll including the operation of occupational maternity and sickness schemes, overseas employees, pensions and share schemes.
* Ability to manually calculate PAYE\/NI deductions accurately, and have good knowledge of tax year legislation changes
* Good knowledge of monthly payroll accounting closing cycles
* Strong organisation skills with attention to detail
* Accounting knowledge and experience associated with payroll and HMRC guidelines on Expenses
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
* Effective communication skills
* Strong MS Office skills
* Ability to build effective relationships across the business
