*Hourly Rate*: £21 per hour.

*Night Shifts: *Full Time.

*Hours Per week: *40 hours per week.

*Shift Time: *20:00-08:00 am.

*Grade: *Band 6.

A dedicated and driven individual who is either looking for a new opportunity and to make the next step into a managerial role. Unit Manager experience is not essential as they are happy to offer support and detailed induction periods.

*Duties & Responsibilities for the Unit Manager (RGN / RMN) Include: *

* Overseeing of assessments of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care.
* Continually deliver and maintain high standards.
* Continuous service improvement.
* Leadership, management and development of others.
* Budgetary management.
* Continuous personal development.
* Building trust and developing relationships to ensure service user involvement.
* Meeting national targets and standards.
* Data quality assurance.
* Ensuring information is manager and applied appropriately and effectively.
* Ensuring choice, equality and diversity values underpin the day to day working of the practise area.
* Ensuring effective caseload management within the team.

*Education & Qualifications*

* Valid registration with NMC as RMN/RN (MH)/RGN/RNLD
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Management qualification, training or relevant experience

*Previous experience*

* Evidence of effectively leading a team.
* Demonstrable experience at a senior level within a health care organisation.
* Understanding and commitment to equal opportunities.
* Experience and understanding of quality management.
* Experience of managing budgets.

*Skills, Knowledge & Abilities*

* Understanding of CQC minimum care standards.
* Relevant legislation knowledge.
* Local and National Mental Health policies.
* Risk assessment skills.
* Understanding of the needs of the client in the clinical area experiencing mental health problems work collaboratively in a multi-agency environment.
* Manage a range of professional staff.
* Supervision experience and implementation.
* Managing people including setting and monitoring objectives against performance.
* Ability to motivate others.
* High level interpersonal skills.
