COMMODITY MANAGER JOB AVAILABLE IN NEWTOWN

This company develop state-of-the-art equipment and their complex products are sold all over the world. They have over 45 years experience and have sites all over the globe. Their product lines are growing year on year and they are investing a lot of money into new product development.

As a Commodity Manager you will be responsible for working closely with engineering and manufacturing departments to assist with product development strategies and work closely with suppliers to establish and improve relationships. You will work directly with purchasing teams who are responsible for buying a range of commodities including electronic and mechanical components. You will also be responsible for supporting all aspects of supply chain including logistics and global supplier account management.

To apply for the Commodity Manager position based in Newtown you must have:

* Strong experience in a purchasing/commodity manager or senior buyer role

* Experience in purchasing mechanical, electrical or electronic components

* Proven experience in working for a product manufacture or engineering business.

* Strong experience in building and improving supplier relationships.
