Warehouse Shift Manager | \u00A330k per annum | Sheffield

Your new role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join a busy team located in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities include;

* Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have responsibility of assisting in supervising the Warehouse Team Leaders.
* Giving direction and monitoring performance that ensures the department runs efficiently and effectively within preset budget information.
* Proactively motivating the team to achieve planned targets and deadlines by providing guidance, encouragement through engaging colleagues
* To ensure the operation achieves targeted daily and weekly KPI's
* Ensure department operates in line with all company and customer procedures and requirements relating to Health and Safety
* Ensure any disciplinary action is carried out following company procedure and aim to resolve grievances on a day-to-day basis by leading by example.
* Ensure the operation operates all such systems to the mutual benefit of the customer and the company.
* Ensure effective communication throughout the operation communicating planned requirements providing information on performance, company news and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

* In depth experience in warehouse planning & management.
* Previous experience of all formal disciplinary processes including the grievance process.
* Advanced experience with warehouse KPI management.
* Experience of supervising \/ managing a management team (Minimum of 2 direct reports)
* Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office programs.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Works well under tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail and a right first-time approach.
* Experience of Kronos time management and Oracle an advantage.

Salary of \u00A330,000 per annum
Shift patterns 6am-2pm & 2pm - 10pm
