Project Manager - Construction Installations
Winovate Partners Ltd are recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of our client who is a fabricator and installer of aluminium doors, windows and curtain walls for the commercial sector. They also provide maintenance services for automatic doors to well known branded customers.
Under new ownership, this well respected and established business has ambitious plans to double net profits within 3 years by organic growth. The company will also make synergistic acquisitions.
Project Manager - Installations
This role is a key member of the team. You will run multi-sites projects for aluminium doors, windows and curtain walling products in the commercial sector, from surveying down to a successful hand-over.
You will be responsible for surveying, coordinating site teams, managing relationships with customers and solving issues in real time. Ultimately, you will ensure the timely, safe and profitable delivery of projects, both new build and refurb.
Key Duties
* Survey sites and confirm information and requirements with customers
* Coordinate site teams to ensure that the Fitters have all the necessary information to carry out a smooth and safe installation
* Liaise with customers to ensure ongoing and transparent communication on progress, while managing customers' expectations
* Proactively identify and resolve technical and on-site issues
* Work closely with the manufacturing department to coordinate the delivery of products and materials, ensuring that sites are resourced correctly
* Prepare quotations whenever needed
* Ensure that the sites are a health and safety compliant environment at all times
* Report weekly on projects progress to the Operations Manager
* The position will involve travel mainly to sites across the Midlands and also occasionally into Wales and the greater UK area.
Person Specification
* Experience in managing projects across multiple sites simultaneously
* Good understanding of commercial aluminium fenestration and installations
* Ability to identify and resolve technical and on-site issues
* Well organized,attention to details and great personal time management skills
* Great communication skills
* Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
* Proficient in using project management software, in updating data in a timely and accurate manner and creating spreadsheets
* Full UK driving Licence
Hours: Full time 40 hours per week
