Summary
Competitive salary, negotiable dependant on qualifications and experience.

Condover College Ltd is a small and independent specialist college and residential care provider in the heart of Shropshire.

We support learners aged 18+ who have moderate to severe learning disabilities, profound and multiple learning difficulties and additional complex needs. At CCL we believe that the people we support are entitled to the same rights, choices and opportunities as people who do not have disabilities and that it is our responsibility to support them to exercise these rights to lead a fulfilling life.

We are looking to recruit care and support workers who will help us to ensure these values continue to be at the heart of everything we do. We have 13 residential homes in and around Shrewsbury in areas such as Baschurch, Radbrook, Dorrington and Wem. In addition to our residential homes we also have a respite provision, education college and newly built hydrotherapy pool and activity centre.

You would be based at one of our homes where you would work within a set team supporting the residents who live there during the night, this means that you can really get to know them and provide meaningful person centered care. Although the role can have its challenges, seeing how you can help people live happy lives and achieve their dreams makes a career in social care worth it.

At CCL we pride ourselves on being a friendly and rewarding place to work. We invest in our staff and have a strong ethos of 'growing our own'. Some of our key employee benefits are;

- Gym membership to a local gym
- Confidential counselling service
- Physiotherapy
- Employee reward and recognition programmes
- Defined benefit pension scheme
- Ongoing training and development opportunities

Having the right qualities is all you need to get started in this exciting role, we provide comprehensive induction training to all staff as well as ongoing training and qualifications to enhance your career with CCL.

CCL are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of everyone in our care, therefore this post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references will be sought prior to your employment start date.
