VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Our client are a global manufacturer, who have an exciting new opportunity to join their North Bristol operation.

As the new Technical Artwork Co-ordinator you work part of the Operations Team and the successful applicant will be highly motivated, focused and driven, demonstrating a 'can-do' attitude, with an acute attention to detail, very strong analytical and self-motivational skills.

We are looking for candidates who are great communicators, have the ability to communicate and understand complex information and have a within an administration role is preferred, where you carried out checking / auditing duties to a high standard, so a good attention to detail is crucial.

The purpose of the position, is to manage the introduction of all new artwork briefs, ensuring customer expectations and delivery demands are met, enabling the company to strengthen its market position by fulfilling its clients' requirements.

The person, will receive artwork briefs, translate and interrogate them into clear and concise briefs, ready for artwork creation.

You will turn customer artwork briefs into production ready products - RFT

You will schedule all artwork going through the approval / repro / order stages and monitor progress to ensure customers delivery dates are met

Input data using multiple systems, including COBIS, MS Office and Customer Portals.

Control the co-ordination of colour matching requests with Flint

Ensure all artworks submitted to customers meet manufacturing guidelines

To when the customer request is not practical and take the necessary action to ensure the customer is not compromised, and ensuring the factory can still produce effectively

Provide an effective technical service to both our internal and external customers

Support the Shift Managers with print trials and developments

Recommend cost savings / recovery methods where possible

Provide admin reports as requested

Financially and comercially aware

3 years experience of manufacturing environments

Good analytical skills.

Ability to prioritise and deal with pressure.

Ability to communicate complex information effectively and to gain an understanding from others of potentially complex issues.

Holder should have previous experience in an administration role

Acute attention to detail to ensure accurate translation of artwork briefs.

Our client is offering a salary of £22k - £24k (DOE) and excellent company benefits.
