The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon at Delaware Veterinary Group!

Our full-time position is 32 hours over 4 days a week, between the hours of 8:30am-6:30pm, but we will consider part time for the right candidate. You will be expected to work 1:6 weekends and weeknights on call.

Salary for this role is up to £55,000 depending on experience.

About the Team and Culture

With 6 qualified vets and 8 qualified nurses, we have a clinical team that functions around support and the delivery of high-quality veterinary medicine. The team are actively encouraged to develop individual clinical skills and interests. This has led to a GP Cert AVP in Small Animal Medicine, as well as Physiotherapy and Behaviour, Emergency Critical Care, and Dental Surgery. We play an active part in the local community, sponsoring events like the local children's carnival, providing support on interview techniques for school leavers and giving talks with local charity groups.

Applicant Requirements

This position would suit an ambitious candidate with a surgical bias and a view to further business development. However, if you are looking to grow your clinical knowledge and hone your surgical skills, we are also keen to support this. Our ideal candidate will be excellent at working as part of a team and competent in both consulting and surgical duties.
