We recruit some of the most committed staff in the sector.We are seeking an experienced Tutor to provide pastoral care and academic support to our students, qualified to deliver a vocational programme including delivery of NVQ qualifications.Ideally you will be able to teach across a range of vocational programmes which could include the following:Outdoor educationBushcraftHorticultureBusinessRetailCustomer serviceAnimal careOur Tutors provide tuition for small groups of young people, which allows for full engagement and ensures that the programme of learning meets the needs of the individual. With a student centred approach, we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment within which young people can flourish.Candidates should have a passion and commitment for providing creative and high quality learning experiences. With a dynamic and inclusive approach you will have high expectations for our learners and a drive to help them achieve the best possible learning outcomes.As a skilled practitioner you will have an empathetic approach and the ability to be flexible and adapt to individual needs.Applicants should have a recognised teaching qualification. Experience of working within a SEN environment is desirable and in particular an understanding of ASD. This provides learners with the opportunity to experience independent living in a range of different settings.We aim to provide every young person with an individually tailored programme of education, care, work experience, leisure and life skills and training within the community, to enable them to live as independently as possible.Our dedicated team of staff create a safe, secure and independent living environment where our learners have a sense of belonging within their group and a sense of ownership of their home.
