PAINTER & DECORATOR REQUIRED FOR A PROJECT IN TAUNTON

Your new job

Your new job as a Painter and Decorator will involve working on occupied premises. With the range of duties which might include: Applying paint, stains, varnishes and other finishes, Using brushes, rollers or spraying equipment, Applying primers and undercoats, or varnishes and glazes, Wallpapering, Using the materials provided by the client, Removing old paint or wallpaper by sanding or scraping, or by using heat guns, liquid paint removers or steam strippers, Laying dust sheets to protect areas from paint and Preparing surfaces for decorating by filling holes and sealing cracks.

What you need to succeed in your new job

In order to succeed in your job as a Painter and Decorator you will need to be able to demonstrate experience and reliability working for contractors and on construction sites previously in a similar role.

You will need: CSCS Own transport (desirable) Own tools PPE: Hi-vis Hard Hat Steel toe capped boots

What you'll get in return

In return for undertaking your job as a Carpenter you will receive an hourly rate of pay. Your new role will have a duration commitment of up to **** weeks, which could potentially extend further. If your contract doesn't extend, then Hays will look to secure your next placement upon receipt of a positive finishing reference.
