Job description

My client is an ever growing Fire and Security company, established in 2010 and based in the South West who are now looking for a Multiskilled Fire and Security Engineer to join their team.

You would carry out service and repair of all fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, fire extinguishers, nurse call systems and security systems. This will be on a PPM and reactive basis so experience in both is essential. This particular role is mainly service based, but some knowledge of installation would be useful.

The ideal candidate will:

Have performed PPM and reactive experience in commercial, fast paced environments

Have over 5 years experience in the fire and security industry

Can work well independently and be part of a smaller, growing team

Have FIA qualification-essential

Full UK driving license-essential

Multiskilled in both fire and security systems- service

You will be working in commercial settings such as schools, office spaces, retail stores, hospitals, care homes and many more on a mobile basis covering the South West.

My client is offering the following benefits to the ideal candidate: Base salary of £32-£35K based on experience + 1 in 3 weeks on standby (paid at higher rates and all travel time paid) + private healthcare plan + retail discount days paid annual leave + company van.
