2nd Line Support Analyst- Lichfield - Permanent

2nd Line Support Analyst overall responsibilities and duties:

The main mission of the role is to work within central GIS competence centres and:-

Manage changes related to shopfloor systems (gIMM and MII)
Participate in and manage projects related to local applications, IT infrastructure improvements and changes
Provide user training for local applications and processes
Provide technical and functional 2nd level support to users, utilising the
Helpdesk ticketing system.
Plan and execute IT backup tests (infrastructure and systems)
Respond to any incident related to or impacting shopfloor systems
Ensure operation of data backup system (Commvault)
Setup and maintain back office systems (servers and applications) as and when requested by the UK IT Manager/LIR
Plan, manage and perform IT system, infrastructure and application changes according to GIS standard procedure
Ensure the application of Group standards, especially concerning hardware, software, security policies, software licenses control and IT asset management
Implement, maintain and improve IT monitoring system (Hydra)
Engage in the continuous improvement activities related to the IT quality management system (SIAM)
2nd Line Support Analyst Other Responsibilities:

Report any concerns or important information gathered to the UK IT Manager/LIR
Cooperate with other team members on polyvalence activities (sharing and acquisition of skills and knowledge)
During the pursuit of all duties of the Code of Ethics and the Code of Management will be adhered to at all times.
2nd Line Support Analyst will have/be:

Bachelor's degree in management with specialisation in a technical degree
Competencies/Skills:
Ability to communicate and to negotiate
Ability to work in a fast paced automotive environment
Ability to prioritise tasks
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a driving license and have a car.
