HEALTHCARE SUPPORT WORKER
Specialist Eating Disorder In-patient Unit, Eating Disorders Service
Based at the Kinver Centre, Stafford
Band 2
37.5 hours per week
6 month fixed term contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Specialist Eating Disorder Service. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self motivated and innovative individual with an interest in specialising in this field of adult mental health.
Ideally we need someone who enjoys a challenge, and is able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Your role will be to assist in the planning, implementing and evaluating the holistic care afforded to our patients, supporting them at meal times and throughout their stay within the unit.
The successful applicant will have met the required elements set out in the person specification and will be able to demonstrate a high level of verbal and non verbal communication skills. A degree of flexibility in approach is required along with a willingness to learn whilst working in an environment that can at times be challenging.

You will be based at the Kinver Centre in Stafford, working shift patterns that will include rotation onto nights and weekends. We are committed to continued professional development and therefore training and clinical supervision will be provided.
