Job description

We are looking for a Human Resources Operations Manager to oversee and manage all operational functions of our Shared Services Human Resources department, providing support, advice and a shared service to our UK and overseas operations.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the successful applicant will have a background of leading teams within transactional HR Operations. You will be familiar with continuous improvement and using technology to streamline the way in which HR administration and support is delivered. Your attitude will be one of understanding that working collaboratively is the only way to achieve success and you will see the benefit of forging and maintaining strong relationships within an organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and managing the performance of the human resources operations team and individuals.
  • Working with the human resources team and internal stakeholders, managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle HR processes.
  • Refining and delivering human resources operational process improvement on a continuous basis, including maximising the development and effectiveness of our HRIS.
  • Managing, coaching and developing the UK based human resources operations team.
  • Setting priorities and objectives for the human resources operations team.
  • Developing and enhancing team structures and work flow processes.
  • Designing and delivering effective and efficient human resources operational solutions
  • Acting as a consultant to internal stakeholders, advising on human resources policies and procedures, including employee relations.
  • Managing the interface with our payroll team.

Role Requirements

  • Proven and extensive experience of human resources operations management at a similar level.
  • Highly developed and effective team management skills.
  • Extensive working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Ideally MCIPD qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities with a hands-on approach to the management of human resources operations.
  • Experience delivering HR services within a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
