A Quality Officer job based in Stoke-on-Trent paying between \u00A325,000 to \u00A330,000 per annum

Your new role
Your new role as a Quality Officer will be based predominantly in the office but may require occasional travel to clients and supplier sites on an ad-hoc basis. Your duties will include:

* Take responsibility for the coordination of the company non-conformance process.
* Taking the lead on investigation and resolution of quality related NCR's.
* Produce relevant quality assurance documentation with assistance from your colleagues in the QHSE department.
* Manage and coordinate all third party company\/product quality assurance management system audits and approvals.
* Conduct and coordinate quality assurance monitoring and audits to confirm compliance with the requirements of our internal management systems and product quality plans.
* Monitor products to assure relevant product quality milestones are met and the necessary documentation is provided as required.
* Conduct scheduled quality audits on the company management system, and assist with the administration of QHSE Management audit system.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will have:

* Be qualified to degree level or equivalent in a quality or engineering-related discipline.
* Experience in a similar role is essential, and experience working within the oil and gas industry would be desirable.
* Knowledge of the procedures and legislation surrounding hazardous substances.
* Working knowledge of quality assurance in a manufacturing, design, installation or service industry.
* Previously handled third party audits.
* Experience in quality management standards relating to ISO 9001, ISO\/IEC 80079- 34.
* Experience of the manufacture of electrical equipment.
