Jump 2 Independence Ltd are recruiting a full-time Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Living Team.
Shift Times:
Salary based on working average 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days over a 7 day period, including every other weekend or 2 weekends over a 4 week rota period, the position will require a fully flexible candidate who can work all of the following shift times when required.
Working hours will be 08:30-17:30, with a 1 hour lunch break. You may also be required to work a Noon Shift 13:30-22:00 or Night Shift 22:00-06:30 as and when required as part of your on-call duties.
Duties:
To assist with the day-to-day operation of the Supported Living units. You will work within a small team of 12-15 including Senior Support Workers, Support Workers, & Night Support Workers, providing support to service users within our supported living units or within service users own homes.
You will complete on call duties on a rota basis, ensuring the effective running of the service dealing with any queries, staff sickness and arranging relevant cover, if relevant cover cannot be sourced as on call manager you will be required to cover the shift.
To liaise as needed with external organisations, including the local authority completing service user assessments, reviews and any meetings required within your role.
To participate in Staff, Team and Quality Management Review Meetings as directed by the Registered Managers/Directors.
To comply with all Policies of the Organisation, as appropriate.
To ensure that the day-to-day Support Services are operated in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and current statutory regulation guidance on best practice.
To conform to the Company Code of Professional Conduct.

The successful candidate will have:
Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 or above, or be willing to work towards.
Previous experience in care (Experience in Supported Living an advantage).
Good IT skills and competency in Microsoft Office.
Good verbal and written skills.
Good organisational skills.
Good time management.
Full Clean Driving Licence (essential with full use of vehicle).
