In the role of Service Bid and Proposal Specialist you will handle the full range of activities associated with offering processes, including the analysis of requests for quotations to determine customer requirements and specifications. Additionally, you will, from time to time, be involved in execution of these projects and will be expected to press ahead with efforts to optimize existing solutions. Main Responsibilites
Prepare offers for our local market considering all economical and technical project aspects as well as our customers bidding process
Collaborate with our sales managers and local service experts to provide competitive solutions tailored to customer requirements
Collaborate with our extended tendering team to ensure all requests from clients are responded to in a timely, efficient manner
AnalyzeRFQs, identify and understand the full range of requirements and develop project specific solutions with the assistance of our engineering department and support team
Managing internal and external subcontractors and partners throughout the tender process
Establish an overall project cost model and cost control for project execution
Prepare local and global risk assessments together with our support team
Prepare tender and draft project schedules combined with a timely submission
Offer presentations and negotiations with regards to technical and economical details backed by our technical and sales experts
Ensure all internal databases and records are kept accurate & maintained for relevance
Optimize and continuously improve the quotation process
Handle and execute small service projects
Support our customers with assessments and consultation
Chart and maintain targeted opportunities monthly to ensure sale activities are in line with annual budget

Requirements - Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Essential
At least 2-5 years' work experience, preferably spent in a service organization
Tendering experience in similar field would be an advantage, complemented by knowledge of commercial and legal aspects of contracts
Energetic, proactive, and problem-solving approach, together with a keen sense of responsibility and ownership
Open, communicative and flexible personality seeing advantages of working cross departmental
Demonstrate excellent customer focus
Good knowledge of Protection and Control devices and system
Desirable
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Competent in MS Visio, Project
Experience in Control & Protection HV electrical systems
