We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Care Home Deputy Manager to help with the day to day running of their recently opened care home in Walsall. About The Role

As Deputy Manager you will be responsible for assisting the home manager with the day to day operations of running this 41-bed residential care home, providing exceptional residential and specialist dementia care to its residents.

The home currently has a Good rating with the CQC, we are therefore looking for an individual who can assist the care team with exceed care standards and drive towards that Outstanding rating!

As the Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Registered Manager & Care Home Team, to ensure the smooth running of the home. This will include constantly looking for ways to improve standards of care through evaluation of the home & companies policies & procedures. You will report directly to the Home Manager, ensuring all residents receive individualised holistic care.

Requirements

- NVQ LVL 4 in Health & Social Care of Equivalent
- Working Flexibility across various shift patters, potentially including weekends and nights. You will need to be prepared to cover and attend emergencies outside of your standard working hours.
- Prepared to take over responsibility for the home in absence of the Home Manager
- Previous experience of management within a care home or similar environment is essential
- Knowledge of caring for those living with dementia
- Experience of budgeting in a similar setting would be an advantage.
