Field Service Engineer (Forklifts)

Walsall & Wolverhampton Territory

8am to 4.30pm, 40 Hours a Week Monday to Friday

£27,000 - £30,000 Starting Salary + Pay Reviews + Paid Travelling + Overtime at 1.5 + Expensed Van (can be used for personal use) + Fuel Card + 6% Employer and 4% Employee Pension + Training Package + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Call Out

Field Service Engineer required for an international manufacturer and service provider of plant equipment offering fantastic training and support. This is a great chance to join a successful company in a local role offering pay reviews and an excellent benefits package.

The role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be very suitable. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.

The company are a manufacturer and you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment in Walsall & Wolverhampton. You'll cover a local territory, no stay away is required.

The Role in Brief:

*Carry out planned maintenance activities on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis

*Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area, primarily Walsall & Wolverhampton.

*Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment

*Voluntary Call out rota 1 in 4 - £145 standby payment plus fixed call out fee os £75 plus OT at x 1.5

The Person Required:

*Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable

*Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills

*Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
