Are you working on Highways and looking for an opportunity to work for one of the countries biggest civil engineering contractors? I am currently recruiting a Handover Manager to join one of the country's most reputable contractors on their civil engineering division on a large highway scheme.

The Handover Manager is responsible for ensuring that hand-over of project deliverables are defined, agreed and progressively delivered to the client and other stakeholders in line with programme and contract requirements. The role will consist of building strong relationships with the client to ensure that all the needs are met according to the project specifications.

This role offers a competitive salary with a dynamic workload. The role will allow remote working as well as site attendance been required.

Responsibilities:
•Liaison between Key stakeholders, I.E National highways major projects, National Highways Operations Directorate, Walsall council, and in some instances the maintainer for Area teams. This includes supporting with closing out of handover issues through liaison and attaining approvals/agreements.

•Writing the PCF products related to handover such as the handover schedule, and certificates for handover. Helping to compile and co-ordinate the PCF products for each of the SGAR stages, OFT and SGAR6. Working through the handover process in accordance with the NH guidance.

•Tracking and monitoring of the defects, issues and concerns for the works that will become an issue and require remediation or agreement for handover to be achieved during the scheme life.

•Tracking the status for as built drawings, issues/concerns, health, and safety file progress. Also delivering monthly meetings with the client to demonstrate the progresses being made.

•Delivering handover walkovers with the local council and National Highways OD and compiling the issues/concerns/comments on the handover tracker and supporting the close out of them moving towards handover.
