Recovery Coordinator, Full Time, Office Based (Walsall)

Your new company
Our client is a voluntary sector organisation specialising in substance misuse and criminal justice intervention projects in England and Wales. Recently, the organisation employed over 1,800 workers and was supported by over 250 volunteers.

A national provider of support, treatment and rehabilitation programmes for those with substance misuse problems, crime and lack of opportunity. Service users include:

* Adults and young people with substance misuse problems
* People who are homeless and living and working on the streets
* Offenders in prison and those serving community sentences
* Families and communities affected by crime, substance misuse and anti-social behaviour
* Victims of domestic abuse

Your new role
Act as main care coordinator overseeing assigned groups of service users, providing: screening; asset mapping; comprehensive assessments; recovery planning (using motivational interviewing techniques) and reviews of care.

The post holder will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team at the service named above to deliver high quality provision by:

*Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment\/recovery journey;
*Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral;
*Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community;
*Promoting carer, service user and community involvement;
*Providing advocacy for access to partnership services;
*Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self determination.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous experience of working with a caseload of clients. These individuals are going through their rehabilitation programs and you are there to support them with this.

Enhanced DBS required.

What you'll get in return
Pay of up to \u00A313.83 per hour
