Job description

Due to continued growth and ambitious plans to double their current annual sales target, I'm currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Executive to work with a global leading manufacturer who supply into multiple industries. As the Technical Sales Executive you will be responsible for generating and securing new business whilst developing existing and dormant accounts across the UK market.

Working hours of the Technical Sales Executive:

Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm

Duties of the Technical Sales Executive:

* Generating and securing new business, face to face or via virtual meetings

* Develop and manage a solution led approach which facilitates account profitability

* Following up on all assigned leads globally, developing relationships with prospects and dormant accounts.

* Actively seeking out new sales opportunities and pushing for high conversion rates on enquires, conducting discovery calls, cold calling, networking.

* Highlighting areas of competitive advantage to negotiate and close deals

* Prepare and deliver appropriate proposals and presentations on products and processes

* Assisting in identifying emerging customers, sector trends and market intelligence to maximise sales pipeline

The successful candidate for the Technical Sales Executives position will have the following experience:

* 3 - 5 years' experience working within a manufacturing sales environment (Essential)

* Proven experience managing client expectations on lead times (Essential)

* Absolute understanding of the sales cycle (Essential)

* Ability to learn and build relationships (Essential)

* Managing high level commercial relationships (Essential)
