Job description

Are you a Junior building services Engineer seeking an opportunity when you can learn and develop as a design Engineer?

This role will give you access to a structure training plan with a global consultancy based in their building services team

The company works across a variety of sectors including Aviation, MoD, Education, Transport and Data Centres. Their portfolio boasts some of the largest and complex developments in the UK.

The role would be fit for a Graduate in Building services or minimally experienced building services Engineer.

You will have the opportunity to work on an agile basis with working from home a genuine prospect without barriers.

Role Responsibilities

·Design of mechanical / electrical building services and low carbon design in relation to the design of new buildings or redevelopment.
·Undertake design preparation, calculations, thermal modelling and analysis - using software including: Revit, IES and Amtech.
·Liaising and relationship building with clients, partners and supply chain.
·Prepare and coordinate project designs.
·Prepare costed feasibility studies and option reports.
·Prepare building performance specifications.

Requirements:

·Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
·Proficient in CAD; preferably with Revit experience.
·Experienced in preparing drawings and reports.
·Ability to work collaboratively and integrate into multi-disciplinary teams or work independently.
·Ability to use your initiative and have a desire to improve your technical capabilities.
·Able to adapt to different cultures and working environments.
·Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and CIBSE guidelines.

This role encompasses confidential projects and thus, you must be a British Citizen who has resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 consecutive years, as you will be required to undergo a security clearance check.
