Job description
New Surrey based contract job available for a Data\/Information Consultant from an NHS background.
Experienced Data\/Information Consultant with an NHS background required to help Surrey based NHS Trust maintain expertise in NHS data standards, data presentation and measurement trends.
What you will be doing
As well as being a member of the management team, this is a highly technical position requiring advanced programming skills and the ability to develop in-house systems and processes to enhance the delivery of data across the organisation. Working as a key member of the team building data flows. This will involve the development of population health data, aligning primary and secondary care data. Also developing and consolidating information flows and reporting from a new community service contracted from April 2020.
* Provide analytical support to the trust's directorates and trust-wide projects
* Work as an integral part of Health Information Services, supporting projects that require measurement, such as service capacity planning, performance dashboards and complex data modelling
* Be a subject matter expert for multiple clinical areas
* Supervise departmental processes and provide training and development for team members
* Be involved in the production of performance data for the trust systems and the trust-wide data warehouse
* Responsible for interpreting trust-wide information needs into data requests and translate raw data into written and graphical reports accessible to a wide audience
What they are looking for
NHS sector experience is a must - ideally within an Acute Trust. The client needs someone very familiar with using Microsoft SQL and\/or Business Objects to query data and design reports. You will be an advanced User of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Identifying problems and devising solutions. Working in partnership with others, using data to make recommendations to improve services. Translating data into graphical formats to highlight key messages. Experience in building structured datasets and ETL processes. Creating and delivering training programmes. Very Good understanding of NHS data dictionary. Using initiative and flexibility to meet work demands. Communicating complex issues and analysis of complex datasets to audiences with varying levels of information literacy.

Flexible working options available. The role has been determined as Inside IR35 and is offered on a 12 week contract basis and will pay up to a maximum of \u00A3263 per day.
