Hardware Team Lead - Hands on role C\/C++ - Camberley - Up to \u00A375k - Lead a team of 7!

Your new role
You will be leading a hardware development team to focus on their main technical products. The Team Leader is responsible for the quality of the team's technical deliverables. Some of your key responsibilities will include development plannings and progressing, line managing a small team of 7 in the Hardware division, coordinate interaction with other departments (R&D, Software, Project Management), Hardware Platform Design\/Development\/Release, and ensuring that development standards and processes are adhered to. You will also be expected to understand and work with the company's systems, keeping a strong hold on your hands on skills.

What you'll need to succeed

* Team Leadership with excellent communication skills
* Excellent C\/C++ skills
* Knowledge and experience of the product development life cycle
* Knowledge and experience with Linux development on an embedded platform ideally Buildroot or Yocto
* Good understanding of Linux security
* Working in an Agile environment
* Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or from any other relevant experience

Desired:

* Knowledge and experience of EMC or electrical safety testing (CE, FCC, UKCA, UL, etc)
* Experience with Confluence and Jira
* Experience with cmake and make files
* Camera development, GenICam and V4L2
* Experience of OpenCV, STL and Boost
