Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating Products

Area to be covered: BN, BR, CR, CT, DA, GU, KT, ME, PO, RG, RH, SE, SO, SM, SW, TN, TW, UB, JE, GY

Remuneration: £42,000 + 20% bonus

Benefits: Company car or equivalent & full benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating Products will involve:

* Field sales position selling a high quality range of water boosting systems / pumps into the residential market sector

* Majority of your time will be spent selling to / dealing with national and independent plumbers & builders merchants and buying groups such as: Travis Perkins, Grahams and Plumbase

* The remaining portion of your time will be spent stimulating demand and selling to main contractors, developers and specifiers

* Inheriting a well-established territory that is currently turning over £1.2m and looking to grow year on year

* Circa 400 live opportunity to go after with a large project bank

* Order values can vary however on average will be around £10k-£50k+

The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating Products with:

* Must have construction sales experience selling a plumbing & heating related product

* Must have sold to or worked for builders and plumbers merchants such as: Travis Perkins, Plumbase, Grahams, Wolseley, Plumbase, BBS, City Plumbing, LBS, IGB,

* Ideally have contacts within large main contractors and developers

* Specification experience would be advantageous however no essential

* Ideally have knowledge of pumps or water boosting systems not essential all HVAC product background will be considered

* Must be a hungry, driven go-getter (doesn't want a plodder)

* Strong presentation skills

* Ability to develop into a fully fledged field sales position

* Passionate, motivated and enthusiastic
