Head of Department (RE), Cranmore Needed.

You will be working with a market leader that has exclusive partnerships with schools. Hays Education has an exciting opportunity with one of our Partnership Schools. This opportunity is to start September 2021.

Your new role:

You will be part of a trust and based in a leading independent school which boasts a wonderful 25 acre site and is blessed with fantastic facilities. Combined with its sister school, the Trust has 1,000+ pupils and \u00A320m+ assets and is intending to rapidly expand. The school wish to appoint a Head of Religious Education who will lead RE in accordance with the School's mission to be a Catholic School committed to the teachings of the Gospel with the aim to help all children fulfil their potential, by fostering their individual talents and providing for their needs within its caring Christian community. Applicants must have the enthusiasm to build an outstanding environment in which all pupils can learn and thrive academically, emotionally and spiritually.

What you'll need to succeed:

In order to be Qualified for this role with Hays, you will need to have qualified teacher status and have several years of experience of teaching RE. You will also need to be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, while demonstrating a professional manor at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to your team and other people in the school.
