We're looking for an experienced public affairs manager who can shape our strategy, build on our current government activities and nurture relationships. This is a new role at the University of Surrey, so we're looking for a leader who will establish the function and put in place its best practice foundations.

The successful candidate will have a real passion and energy for public affairs and politics more broadly, and will have demonstrable experience of working with politicians, engaging senior officials and a wide range of sector stakeholders to influence policy change with integrity. With strong leadership skills, the ability to devise and implement influencing plans, to inspire and bring together different teams, you will play a pivotal role enhancing the University's reputation.
