Job Profile SummaryRole Synopsis
The integrated deal manager role plays a key role in the cities & corporate integrated solutions (CCIS) team originating and delivering integrated solutions to corporate and city customers around the globe. CCIS is expected to play a key role in delivering bp's purposes of helping the world get to net zero. The integrated deal manager will focus on business development and the integration required for the integrated solutions that customers need.

Job AdvertKey Dimensions:

People Responsibility (no. of direct reports overall): no direct reports but will require to work in project teams and integrate with other bp business groups to deliver integrated solutions to our customers. Influencing skills will be critical to succeed in this role.

Financial Scope (budget, budgeted revenue/turnover, fixed costs, capex, no. of customers: this is a business development role that will focus on originating, articulating a value proposition, structuring, negotiating and delivering integrated solutions; as such they will be required to understand sources of value, oversee economic modelling and support in negotiations to deliver the financial KPIs associated to the business case.

Key Accountabilities:
• Supports VPs and Sr Deal Managers in active deal conversations and participates in negotiations for a portfolio of projects in qualifying to closing stages.
• Translates integrated offer into business case, trading off risk and value, integrating legal and finance enablers as needed.
• Utilises knowledge of bp to engage stakeholders and ensure integrated solution is comprehensive and maximising value.
• Oversees development of governance materials such as, decks for internal or external engagement, information notes, ATNs, EFMs.
• Explores and applies innovative financing options and agreements types to optimise deal structure.
• Supports and plays a key role in managing complex projects and cross entity integration.
• Develop supporting materials for internal and external engagements.
• Develops relevant governance documents such as information notes, ATNs and EFMs.

Key Challenges:
• Finding viable business models for decarbonisation and the energy transition.
• Integration across bp entities to deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop new knowledge in the energy transition space.

Essential Education:
• Business, engineering or equivalent degree.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
• Relevant experience in parts of the energy value chain that can be applied to the energy transition.
• Project management, agile ways of working and teamwork experience.
• Commercial acumen and experience valuing, structuring and negotiating complex agreements.
• Entrepreneurial approach to test and learn

Desirable Criteria:
• Post graduate degrees are a plus.
• Additional languages as well as English are a plus.
• Experience in cities, heavy industries, heavy transport, consumer goods, financial and high technology sectors is a plus.
