An excellent opportunity to join us at Allied care in one of our Covid-19 safe residential homes with 9 beds in St. Helier Ave. Morden. We believe in looking after both our service users and Health care assistant to the best of our ability. We are looking to hire committed and compassionate workers to join our friendly, professional team.

Health Care Assistant with NVQ 2 and above who also have experience welcomed, however if you have no experience within the care industry, we would still be eager to hear from you as full training to include completion of the care certificate can be provided for those applicants who do not possess an NVQ.

There are opportunities to progress within the role. Depending on the experience and qualifications you gain and achieve once employed with us. The wage range will be discussed with you at interview and start rate agreed depending on your NVQ status.

Staff and service users have received their second COVID vaccines, and due to government guidance at this time we can only appoint staff who will be fully COVID vaccinated by the 11 November 2021.

Responsibilities and Duties

Our staff, support adults with mental ill-health conditions and learning disabilities in a care home environment and work on a shift pattern. Including supporting with Daily living skill development, personal care, and working with some behaviour's which may present as challenging.

Full induction, mandatory training, and regular support and supervision are provided. Competency in the administration of medication preferred however, full training can be provided.

Since vulnerable people need care all the time, we do ask that you work weekends but not all, this ensures our service users always have the support required. This is a full-time role (37.5 -hour contract) with the opportunity of overtime although this is not mandatory.

Salary: £9.25-£10.00 per hour
