We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Inspections & Maintenance Engineer to join our team based in Redhill, Surrey. Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis, you will receive a highly competitive salary plus benefits.

As our Inspections & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the repairs and maintenance of playground equipment, surfacing and all products found within a play area, as well as providing technical support for the I&M department, recording accurate information required for quote preparation.

Responsibilities as our Inspections & Maintenance Engineer:

Carrying out Operational Inspections of playgrounds.

Carrying out reactive/emergency repairs to playground equipment and surfacing

Reaching & exceeding the inspection and maintenance targets set for your area

Accurately recording information so that a quote can be easily prepared from the information given

Servicing the needs of existing customers

Identifying opportunities for repair and refurbishment works

Qualities that we're looking for in our Inspections & Maintenance Engineer:

General maintenance experience would be beneficial - carpentry, mechanical, grounds maintenance, welding, assembly, etc

Previous playground installation and playground maintenance experience would be an advantage.

Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbal

Problem solver

Trained to inspect playgrounds at an Operational level would be an advantage but full training would be given

Must have a flexible approach to working

Ability to manage own time and prioritise workload

Relationship building skills - to be a self-starter willing to take the initiative when necessary and excellent ability to work well within a team structure

Ability to work on own initiative to a high level of accuracy and to meet deadlines

Customer Care - Capable of delivering results and meeting customer expectation
