*We are looking for individuals from a Healthcare background to assist the children of our schools who have Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD), Complex Needs, Severe to Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/ PMLD), and ASD/ Autism. We welcome candidates with care worker backgrounds and Health and Social Care as well as recent graduates who are looking to build their experience supporting SEN pupils in school settings. We also welcome candidates who never worked in school settings but have transferable skills supporting children and young adults with special educational needs. *

* *Supporting pupils with SLCN - Speech and language communication needs, ASD - Autism: Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD), Aspergers, Developmental Delay: Global Developmental Delay*

* *Available for full-time (Monday to Friday); term time only*

* *Providing creative and fun learning environment*

* *Working hours are 8:30am until 16:00pm*

* *£70 - £90 per day; weekly payment*

*As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students with ASD/ Autism, Mild to Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Complex Needs, and Severe to Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/ PMLD). Many of the students will communicate non-verbally, so being able to use Makaton or PECs will be ideal. You must be comfortable with personal care (feeding and toileting). As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with other staff members and the multidisciplinary therapy team. Recent experience and a genuine passion for working with SEN pupils are essential. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced DBS and be fully compliant to work in the UK.*
