Working closely with an existing group of Developers, Architects, DevOps Engineers and Analysts, the Team Lead will contribute to design, develop, implement and optimise the products. Job Title: Software Engineering Lead -Front end React/Redux Job Summary: As the Team Lead you will drive the team from the front, in line with the company vision. You will be a technically strong developer and your duties will include coaching junior developers and managing stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in an equivalent position. Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and contribute hands-on to the technical work assigned to the team.
- Collaborate with the scrum master, the architects and all the other stakeholders to provide robust planning and execution against the assigned deliverables.
- Contribute to cross-team activities, such as the development of standards and processes, as well as ensuring compliance with these.
- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organisation's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. These include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Ensure all staff is provided with training and other resources required to perform their jobs to the highest degree possible.
- Provide frequent feedback and coaching to the staff in order to meet and exceed individual and team performance goals consistently.
- Manage and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvement through innovation.
- Empower the staff to be accountable and responsible for their own actions and decisions.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in both web front-end React, Redux Development and ideally have experience working with .NET core.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, application design, and implementing large components for enterprise projects.
- Experience building enterprise scale web services, ideally based on microservices.
- Solid knowledge of Security Engineering best practices.
- Experience building application frameworks or reusable components.
- Expertise in software design, optimisation, performance tuning.
- Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex issues.
