Junior SQA Engineer (12 month contract)

Your new role
Our client's SQA Department is experiencing a significant level of growth as we develop our model range and launch our latest range of vehicles in to production. They are recognised as an exciting yet demanding, fast paced work environment, where you are given the responsibility for delivering project requirements from the moment you arrive.This role offers you're the ability to work within 1 of 3 function groups shown below for a 12mo period. During this period, you will be trained in the fundamentals of the SQA Role (APQP\/ PPAP\/ Quality Concern Resolution\/ Nomination Process) with the intent of developing you for your future career in Supplier Quality.

Interior, Exterior, Electrical

The successful candidate will be working as part of a high performing and agile team, with direct report into the SQA Manager. Being able to cross functionally engage with our Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Production, Material Control and Legal Teams is a large part of the role and vital for successful delivery of our future programs.

Principal accountabilities:
Support the SQA Engineer and Buyer through the nomination process.
Support supplier audits with the SQA Engineer on new potential suppliers.
Support the SQA Engineer for supplier site visits, APQP reviews and reviewing PPAP submissions.
Support the SQA Engineer on Supplier Quality Concern containment & issue resolutions
Work cross-functionally with all departments to develop relationships.
Introduction to supplier meetings responsible for preparation of meeting agendas and meeting minutes documented with actions managed and tracked.

What you'll need to succeed
Qualified to Degree standard, or equivalent experience.
A strong, clear and confident communicator.
Ability to work to deadlines and demands.
Keen attention to accuracy and detail.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated to work autonomously.
Strong interpersonal skills.
