Financial Accountant

Your new role

Reporting to and supporting the Commercial Accounting Manager to provide financial information and analysis of projects to Executive Directors, Operational Directors and Project Managers in order to facilitate decision making and control and working alongside operations as a key business support function. Enabling organisation to meet its objectives by the provision of a financial support and reporting service to Directors and Managers in a growing contract-based organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

The post holder should be CIMA or ACCA part-qualified or be 'qualified by experience' as well as having substantial work experience in a finance department.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to present financial information in a clear manner to non-financial managers and to work alongside operational management as a key business support partner.
Experience of preparing budgets and financial analysis.
A high level of excel spreadsheet skills
Good Microsoft Word skills
Experience of working with a general ledger package
High level literacy, numeric and report writing skills Ability to manage high volumes of work with competing priorities and deadlines
