K&T Heating are a leading social housing Gas business and we are looking for a full time Gas Installation Engineer to complete works around the Brighton area and report to our Brighton office, and maintain high standards of customer service to create an improved customer experience. This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to complete overtime.

Job Responsibilities

· Day-to-day management of the installation you have been assigned

· Complete the installation to the specification of the survey and the client criteria and to all governing body regulations

· To complete all contract specific paperwork at the time of the installation and acquire all necessary signatures

· To return to any recalls at the request of your installation supervisor

· Complete the assigned installation within the set time frame, any potential failure to do this must be reported your Installation Supervisor at the earliest opportunity

· To risk assess work/working environments before starting any works to avoid damages or injuries.

· To undertake all work in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.

· To undertake all work in accordance with The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.

· To ensure correct uniform is worn at all times when representing the company.

· To record accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used to capture this on the company's PDA / I.T system.

· Ensuring all certification and documentation is completed accurately

· Where any further works are required you must liaise with K&T stores/admin teams then inform residents of timescale for completion of the work being undertaken

· To manage, control and be responsible for allocated van stock ensuring levels are kept.

· Be prepared to work flexible with the possibility of work outside normal working hours depending on the needs of the business

· Carryout your daily tasks in a helpful and professional approach prioritising customer service.

· To report any vulnerabilities or concerns to management via K&T code 4 system so it can be addressed and reported back to the appropriate client.

· To always keep your allocated company vehicle clean and tidy ensuring any waste is disposed of as per company/HSE regulations.

Requirements

· Relevant ACS Gas Qualifications

· Full UK Driving Licence

· PDA Experience

· Experience working with Local Councils / Housing Associations

· Gas Industry Experience
